born in Florence, he attended the faculty of Architecture at the University of Genoa and graduated with Giancarlo de Carlo on a project of renovation in the old port of Genoa

he spent early formative years at Renzo Piano Building Workshop working on the redevelopment of the Lingotto factory in Turin and subsequently at Architectuurstudio Herman Hertzberger on projects in Italy, Germany and Japan

he then relocated to London to operate as freelance consultant on architectural projects and urban renewal schemes across the UK

he established his own practice in 2006 with a dual focus on architecture research and industrial design (photo Francesco Guidicini)

selected works have been showcased in all major design capitals, from New York to Shanghai. In 2011 he was awarded an Honorable Mention at the XXII ADI Compasso d’Oro for the design of modular system Vita
